Antique Art Deco Era Lawrence B. Smith Boston 5 Piece Silverplate Tea Set & Tray
For your consideration we offer a fine Art Deco era silver plated tea set by Lawrence B. Created with first quality and exacting standards, the sleek and angular styling of each piece speaks of the understated elegance that became a hallmark of 1920s design. The five piece set is accompanied by a vintage 23 dual handled footed butlers tray showing moderate wear. The tray is by an unknown maker but compliments the set nicely. The set consists of an 12″ tilting hot water kettle with designated stand and burner, a 10″ coffee pot, 8″ tea pot, 6.5″ cream pitcher, and 5.5 covered sugar bowl. The tilting kettle shows a couple of small rub marks from over aggressive polishing; a small speck of plate loss in seen on the neck of the coffee pot, and there are a couple of tiny dings here and there. None of these imperfections are immediately noticeable or distracting. Otherwise the set is in beautiful condition, presents itself very well with the silver polishing brightly to a clear and brilliant luster.
